A Message from Carrie and Kevin
Carrie and I have been weighing what’s best for our members, staff, families and community since the COVID-19 a global pandemic reached the US. We have come to understand that our primary role at this point is to contribute to the efforts to “flatten the curve”, in part by supporting the efforts of social distancing. This is the is the best way for Etown to play its part – to take care of our community and not contribute to more chaos and sickness.
Based on the information available from the CDC, the Illinois Department of Public Health, the City of Evanston Health and Human Services Department, and most recently, from Governor Pritzker, Mayor Lightfoot and Mayor Hegarty, we have made the decision to close Etown Fitness Club starting Monday, March 16,, 2020 through until Monday, March 30, 2020. During this time, all group classes, personal training and any other appointments will be cancelled or postponed.
For the next two weeks, Etown will move to a fully virtual community, including daily workouts, live feeds, challenges, and nutritional guidance Q&A.
We will be posting workouts on Sugarwod. Feel free to join our Etown Fitness Club group.
Thank you for coming together during these uncertain times to be there for one another. We are grateful for your patience and understanding, and are so thankful for the amazing community that we have built together. We are all in this together. Let's support each other through this troubling time!
Love you all!
Carrie and Kevin
