What is Fitkids Club?
Our FitKids and FitTeens programs here at Etown Fitness Club in Evanston, IL are all about blending fitness and fun as we teach children about the importance of including fitness in their day to day life. Our goal is to help them develop skills through play-based games and exercises that keep all the children smiling and laughing while they learn.
Our program helps develop good motor patterns and physical skills in a fun, social environment. It can help children develop skills for sport, building strength, stamina and coordination. Our program can also provide a healthy, active alternative to conventional team sports. These programs are a great way to develop self-confidence, assertiveness, and a positive attitude toward challenges.

Our FitTeens program is a safe and exciting way for youth to develop strength, confidence, and improve their fitness. This program teaches the importance of proper technique and body awareness. FitTeens is a great compliment to any specialized sport program because it works on a broad range of movement which helps to prevent many repetitive-strain and overuse injuries which are becoming prevalent in youth sport populations. The program is just as suitable for youth who are just discovering the world of health and fitness and would benefit from knowledgeable coaching in a fun and diverse gym.
Our FitKids Club Programs

- FitKids ages 5-8 - WILL RESUME THIS FALL
- FitKids ages 9-12 WILL RESUME THIS FALL
- FitTeens ages 13+ meets on Monday and Wednesdays at 3:00pm
